Importance of product reviews
Majority of us read up on product reviews before making a decision to purchase. This includes all products, especially skin care as there is just an overwhelming choice out there. Most people don't know where to start! You walk into any beauty store, chemist and there is just soo much to choose from in terms of different skin care. All these brands, claim their products are aimed at certain skin conditions but unless you try it for yourself you don't really know if it works. As a consumer it can definitely be very confusing not to mention expensive. I personally love a bargain, and define myself as a smart shopper as I need to know what I'm buying so I get into nitty gritty of it all. When it comes to my skincare and make up products I always, and I mean always read the ingredients list. If the list is too long chances are it contains harmful ingredients. Anythingwith perfumes, alcohol, parabens, aluminium, mineral oils is a big no no.
I have spent many many years, educating myself about different skin conditions, skin types, products. With so many skin care product choices out there what's the first thing to do when you are after some new products?
* Assess your skincare type, what works on oily skin will definitely not work on dry skin types.
* Check out the product ingredients list ALWAYS
* Is the brand cruelty free?
* Is it a well known brand?
* How much are you willing to spend? Always take your budget into consideration.
Please remember expensive is not necessarily better.
So these are just some of the things to consider when looking for skincare products. As a consumer I always look for those things in everything I purchase and of course read up on reviews before purchasing. I'm here to simplify skincare for you and tell you what works and what doesn't. I try and test products so you don't have to! Saving you time and money. Xx
